Parent Company
Active since the late 60s, Green Coast Enterprises was formally established by Abdulghaffar Hussain in 1977 as a holding company to consolidate his investments and assets. Over the years, Green Coast has grown and evolved into an established organization with diverse interests in market-leading businesses.
Our portfolio covers various industries such as manufacturing and trading through established international partnerships, renewable energy and sustainability, real estate and investment management.

2018
MEA’s First 9 layer Fully Automated Extrusion Line for Barrier and Specialty Films.
2017
Commissioning high Definition 10-colour flexography printer. BRC & SEDEX Certification.
2015
CORYS Packaging is established to consolidate the strengths of both Kangaroo Plastics and Emirates Technopack.
2014
New printing, lamination and slitting machines added at Emirates Technopack, and one more 3-layer extruder added at Kangaroo Plastics to cater to increase in business.
2011
Emirates Technopack achieves ISO 22000 and HACCAP certifications.

Kangaroo Plastics shifts to a new, state of the art plant in Jebel Ali Industrial area.
2007
Emirates Technopack achieves ISO 9001 certification.
2003
The Group launched Emirates Technopack, It included Rotogravure, Lacquering, PE Coating, Lamination, Sleeving, Pouching & Slitting Machines.

Kangaroo Plastics is the first Packaging Producer company in the UAE to achieve ISO 9001 certification.
1992
Kangaroo Plastics adds Lamination & Aluminium Foil products to its existing portfolio.

Kangaroo Plastics is launched, initially with a few extruded blown film lines.
